There is a solution for this but it requires 2mins from each individual blogger.

As I took you through the journey of Golden Temple - Kushalnagar, it's time for us to see more places which I visited.

Dubare Elephant Camp in Kushalnagar
This place is an amazing place where one can experience the bound between humans and animals as we could interact with these huge Elephants... Feed them, give them a bath or even take a safari ride as well.
 
It is located in Kushalnagar - reaching within 14kms
This place offers facilities like coracle ride, peddle boat ride and also dubare cottages/ resort where you can enjoy the forest during the stay.

The best part of this Dubare Elephant Camp was experiencing with our darling daughter. She loves "Dumbo" a baby elephant movie. And the excitement on her face and glow in her eyes on seeing her favourite character in real was just a worthwhile watch.

• Chess was invented in India.
• Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus are studies, which originated in India.

Project: Did you know? - 1 [ Jaipur Literature Festival- 2014]

This is my first Project - Project: Did you know?

Project: Did you know is all about some interesting things which happen in our daily lives but are not aware of.

In this project, I'm introducing this new concept where I put up the interesting things which I came across while reading a magazine/ browsing on the net/ heard from someone/media or by any other source of information.

Here, this project covers up all the interesting things which happens around the world. I'm trying to cover up all the areas in this project like Art, Innovative ideas, Science, Handicrafts, Creative stuffs, Events etc.

DSC JAIPUR LITERATURE FESTIVAL - 2014, Asia- Pacific's Largest literary festival



DSC Jaipur Literature Festival is the largest literary festival in Asia-Pacific, and the most prestigious celebration of national and international literature to be held in India. It encompasses a range of readings, talks, debates, performances, children’s workshops and interactive activities held in the beautiful heritage property, Diggi Palace in the Rajasthani capital of Jaipur. Destination : Golden Temple, Kushalnagar INDIA [ buddham saranam gacchami]

After a long time... Me, my hubby and my 2yr old daughter planned to go for a vacation.

The place which we chose to go was Madikeri ( Coorg) - Nature at its Best. Madikeri in one word can be expressed as - AWESOME. There are so many beautiful places in and around Madikeri. Like Omkareshwara Temple, Abbey falls, Raja Seat, Bhagamandala, Golden Temple, Dubare- Elephant camp, Cauvery Nisargadhama, Talacauvery, Irpu falls, Mandalpatti.

 

We stayed at Aarti Homestay in Madikeri near Dairy Farm( just 2kms from Bus stand). It came upto Rs.1000/per day. It was an amazing stay. They helped me with cooking for my 2yr old daughter which I was actually looking out during our stay.

 

Madikeri is known for its Coffee, Varieties of Herbal Oil and N number of spices - Ummm couldn't resist and ended up picking up quite a few :)

 

Let me take you through all the places which we visited. 
Lets start of with one of the Amazing place which we visited.

Golden Temple - a Tibetan Monastery, Kushalnagar.

Golden Temple, a Tibetan Monastery is a beautiful place not to be missed out. It’s around 6kms from Kushalnagar. It is located in Bylakuppe. This place gives an education to the Buddist children who wishes to become monks.

This place is surrounded by beautiful garden.

  

Once you get inside the temple, you get to see 40 ft tall three statues - Buddha, Padmasambhava, Amitayus. So Calm and Peaceful.

If you get a chance to see how they pray... do check out....  It's AMAZING

 

I was fasinated with two things - the wooden hanging and the portaits which has been painted so beautifully depicting Gods and Demons from Tibetan Buddhist Mythology.

 

   

 

 

 

Apart from this there are three more temples inside the compound. Among the three, two were closed and the other one looked like the pic below-

 

 

 

And One of the thing which I found interesting within the compound was a miniature of monastery. It was so beautifully made. Do not miss to check out during your visit.

 

 

Once you come out of the Temple, you can do shopping - Tibetan stuffs like incense, keychains, wooden hangings, caps, some amazing handicrafts etc.

 

During our visit to Golden Temple- Kushalnagar,  we also covered Dubare Elephant Camp and Cauvery Nisargadhama.

 

Overall all we had an amazing time visiting this place.
