When I saw this for the first time, Couldn't believe that fishes can fish their food by coming out of their way.
BELEIVE IT - IT'S TRUE
Visited one of the temple in Karnataka where these fishes in the pond were trying to get the food which was kept on the foot steps by jumping out of their comfort zone.

I've seen goldfish (carp) jump out of the water to get food. Of course, a nearby Blue Heron then picks off the goldfish.
